FAQs
Because Outdoor Link is a little different to the places you might otherwise purchase equipment we are regularly asked questions about how we operate.
If the list below is not thorough enough for you and you would like to know more about how Outdoor Link operates or what we can do for you please just contact us.
1.Do you have a catalogue?
A: Outdoor Link can supply over 30,000 different products. Our strength is in sorting through these products to help you find exactly the right equipment for your specific end-use. Our catalogue would need to be the size of a filing cabinet!
2.Can I buy online?
A: No. We will work with you to locate products that are right for you and are currently available from a wholesaler.
3.When will my gear be delivered?
A: Delivery times are based on a number of factors: the type of products you order and whether they are in stock, the wholesaler that the products will be delivered from, and where you need your gear delivered. Typically deliveries take 3 to 5 days. In some rare cases your order may take up to two weeks. If it looks like your order will be delayed we will contact you to find an alternative solution.
4. Can I collect my order?
A: In most cases your products will be sent directly to you from the wholesaler, cutting freight times and costs to a minimum. If it makes it easier for you to collect from us then just let us know - we are in Brisbane, QLD.
5. Can you send me an invoice?
A: Yes, however in some cases your initial order must be paid up-front. Once we have received confirmation that your products are being delivered from the wholesaler you will receive an invoice for the goods from Outdoor Link Pty Ltd by email or fax. Terms are normally 30 days from the date of invoice.
6. Do you have a shop?
A: No. Outdoor Link is a consultancy service. We are linked to many wholesalers and can supply hundreds of brands of products. By not having a store we can supply you exactly the gear you need rather than just what is on the shelves at the time.
7. Is there a minimum order?
A: No. So long as you are a business, club or organisation that regularly uses outdoor and adventure equipment, we can supply to you. Orders under $750 will attract a freight charge equivalent to the cost of delivering the goods from the wholesaler.
8. I am not part of a outdoor business or club so can I still buy gear from you?
A: Sorry. Outdoor Link only services the needs of corporate clients. For individual purchases please visit your local outdoor retailer.
