GEAR REVIEWS
The world of outdoor and adventure equipment is littered with magazines and websites offering seemingly endless lists of specifications and comparisons of thousands of constantly evolving products.
Approaching the review process from a slightly different angle, the following reviews seek to explain more of the nuts and bolts of gear - why products work in certain environments, what their limitations are and how you can identify when a product will work for you.
These reviews are a new and evolving process for Outdoor Link. We aim to place at least one new review here every month so stay tuned for more entries down the line.
The GEAR GLOSSARY will help if there are techo terms you aren’t familiar with, or if you wish to cut through the ‘salesman spiel’ of an outdoor store or magazine.
Please let us know (CONTACT US) if there are any products, categories or information you would like to see reviewed here.
