WHO WE ARE

Outdoor Link’s equipment consultants are passionate adventure  enthusiasts with a lifetime of experiences in the outdoors. Their decades of service to the outdoor retail industry have given them a broad understanding and appreciation for quality outdoor equipment and the value of seamless service.

So that you know who you are dealing with, here’s a brief introduction to who we are. If you are ever in the area please drop in as we are always up for an adventure.

JUSTIN  KENIGER - Juz

A dedicated outdoorsman, Juz has turned his passions into a career bouncing from guiding and teaching Outdoor Rec courses to managing gear stores and a degree in Leisure Management.

His exploits have seen him mountaineering in Peru, freediving in Indonesia, cycling in Bolivia, snowboarding in Andorra and wilderness firefighting in Victoria just to name a few.

Juz is a true ‘gear freak’ and has the mandatory shed, garage and spare room full of too much equipment so he is ready for whatever adventure is around the corner.

If Juz doesn’t answer his phone it is probably because he is out chasing whales in his kayak, bouldering around the cliffs, running on the beach or trying to catch lobsters and spear a fish for dinner.

ALAINA  GEYSEN - Lain

With her childhood spent on the beaches of Cairns, and years of living and adventuring around the globe, Lain is not one for staying indoors.

Lain’s mountaineering dreams have so far carried her to the summit of many peaks including Chopicalqui (6354m) in Peru. With a strong background in climbing, hiking, cycling and a passion for snowsports, Lain has more Gore-Tex in the cupboard than many gear stores.

As the Retail Operations Coordinator for a large Australian gear store chain Lain developed a strong understanding of the value of exceptional customer service. Lain also spends much of her time flying around in helicopters while working as a SAR Air Crewman.

If the surf’s up Lain will probably be riding waves and if not you’ll probably find her down at the local crag or paddling a kayak with the local pod of dolphins - she lives by the saying, “The weather’s always perfect if you have the right gear.”
